dingataca asked:
I don’t really have any musical talent, but I’d love to learn the ukelele. But how long does it take to learn? And is it easy? I know it looks like a guitar but is it very similar? I really want to do it but I don’t want to buy a uke and find out it’s really tough. I’ve never played a guitar before either!

Brian asked:
I have an acoustic guitar. I have been learning Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here piece by piece. I was curious if this is a good approach to take in learning how to play. Would I be better off just learning all the chords and notes first, then trying to learn songs? Thanks for your input.

llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll asked: For example if you learn the violin, how easy is it to also learn viola, cello and double bass.
How about if you learn one of the flutes, perhaps just the most common C flute, how easy is it to learn all the other flutes. And how about the piccolo?
Is it if you just memorise the different position of the notes you can just do them all right? Also, can you help me find other instruments which are similar like this? Thank you.

I always had a burning desire to learn how to play. I am enjoying my lessons but can’t wait to be able to play without a book in my face. I just want to get a general idea of how long it took the average person.

planegenius asked: I have wanted to play the guitar all my life. My parents got me a guitar a couple years ago, and some books. I have tried maybe three different forms of lessons, all start off at different places. Where is the best place to start when learning to play? Also, got some money now, any advice on some good software or book (idiot proof) to teach me how to play? I really do want to learn this, I’m just kinda overwhelmed. Any other advice welcome please.
Thanks!

Mrazgale asked: What is the best way to learn how to play the acoustic guitar by myself? Any tips? Any self-learn (free) guitar websites to recommend? I wanna learn the techniques of freestyle and improvisation especially, and imitation of performers.

I wanna learn how to play like Tristan Prettyman and Jason Mraz.

I’m thinking about buying a violin in the future, but I want to know something. Is it as easy to play as different string instruments, like a guitar? If not, what do you recommend as a learning process? Thanks, your answers are always appreciated!

I’m a big fan of regional mexican music and well being hispanic is one of the reasons why. Anyways, I have always wanted to learn to play the accordion and have been saving money to buy one and learn how to play it. I’m 21 and I should of started when I was younger, but I still have the desire to learn to play the accordion. Does anyone know where I can learn to play it? What kind of accordion is the best for a beginner?
