Am I too old to learn how to play a new instrument?

I have been interested since I heard playing an instrument strengthen your body and brain.
I played clarinet in school and didn’t like it. In fact, I never really learned how to play it.

I would like something that is reasonable for a guy my age to be able to learn (I’m 21).
If it matters, my IQ is around 115.

I don’t want a bulky instrument though. I think I am inspired to learn violin, as I enjoy listening to classical music.

How can I learn & keep a New York accent?

i’m moving to new york in a month and i act in plays so i think it’d be useful to learn the accent for auditions and such. How can i learn AND keep the accent without sounding “fake”? Also, with the many different variations of the new york accent, would it be easy for someone to spot my accent as “fake”? Thanks!

Any tips to learn lines to a play quickly?

How to actors learn how to speak lines in other languages?

I heard that actors have a method for learning to speak lines in foreign languages “phonetically.” How does this work? How long does it take to learn to do this (or how much effort is involved?) And don’t they need an accent coach, also?
