How can I convince my mom to let me take Airplane Driving Lessons?

So our school is offering or actually informing us that the local airplane lessons for about $2000, for students my age (I am 16), not only are they offering lessons with that sum of money, but also the license, the books, and the pilot uniform. My mom just won’t allow me to learn how to drive a plane, she says its not the money, so how can I convince her.

The runway taxiing one must take flying lessons wait until youre older.
