pdooma asked: For example, if a friend is making racial or religious (or pick your stereotype) jokes or commentary, do you teach your children that it’s right to vocalize disagreement? Are you a good example of this? Or do you remain quiet, even if you disagree, and not make a scene?
What were you taught by your parents, and is that different from what you’re planning on teaching your children?
There is a distinction between this question and the last one. Humor me, please.

I am from a middle class family, in law school, to pursue a better life for my family. I want to teach my children what my parents taught me as well as what they might have not known to teach me that children of wealthy parents might learn.
Please only responses from those who are wealthy.

Eri asked: I have no desire to teach k-12, but while searching for community college jobs to see what they require, I’ve noticed the majority want teaching experience. The only other things they require are a masters degree, and about 18 credit hours in teaching classes…That part should be no problem for me, it’s the experience part I’m concerned about.
How on earth does one go about getting such experience without teaching k-12? None of my professors at university ever taught k-12.

Chasie asked:
I’ve been teaching my pony some tricks recently, and I was wondering if any one knew how to teach my horse how to lie down. Also, if any one knew how to teach a horse how to rear. I have a small pony who trusts me, and I trust him. I’d rather not teach him to do either of these things while I’m in the saddle, because I think that it could have bad consequences. Thanks for any help!

asked:
So I live in California and I want to become an elementary teacher. I want to go to UCLA or some university and get my degree in teaching. But I wanna get a teaching job in Ohio (my family lives there, and it’s cheaper). Am I able to do that? Or do I have to get a degree in Ohio to teach in Ohio?

I need to teach 20 English- speaking children (6 years old) colours in Chinese. Can anyone help me to think of a good lesson warm-up and cool-down fun activity? Any suggestions on teaching children colours in foreign language would be great. Thank you very much!

In the Nintendo DS game Baby Pals, you teach the baby to do various activities, such as recognize colors and sounds, and teach the baby how to crawl and walk. You have to move a ball to distract the baby to teach her to walk, but I don’t even get a chance to try to move the ball before she falls down and cries. Can anyone help me?

asked: My dog is a somewhat fast learner. She knows how to sit but she sometimes has a slow response to this. How do I get her to respond to my command faster. Also, How do I get her to respond to everyone else around me?
Another question is I can’t seem to teach her any other tricks, well I at least I don’t know how to teach her other tricks. How do you teach a dog to lay or shake?
