toothpickgurl asked: I will be majoring in Microbiology in college with minors in Chemistry and Secondary Education. Chemistry is required for the major I chose.
From what research I’ve done, I’ve found that people with a degree in Microbiology are in high demand to teach high school Biology and Chemistry.
I think I want to work in medical research. Teaching is my backup plan. I would still like to be certified to teach.
I can’t seem to find what the requirements for someone with my major are to get a teaching certificate.
Does anyone know where I can find this information?
Also, what will this minor entail?
Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Melosa

asked:
I saw a video on youtube of someone who taught their dog to growl and show their teeth. The dog would stop on command, too. I’ve never even thought about that. No, I’m not teaching my dog that. Does it teach the dog growling is ok? Or is it like learning any other trick?
How do they stop them on command too?

asked: I want to teach my mom english, she knows a few basic sentences, but for the most part she knows very little.
I ask two questions,
1. What method should I teach her in?
2. What materials should I use to teach her?
* I want to teach her quickly as I only have 3 months before I have to go back to school *
Thanks in advance!

asked: Suppose you have 2 non speaking students in your elementary school. They only speak Chinese and in your classroom you have a group of students who can speak Chinese and English.
How can a teacher procure procedures to help them adapt to their new classroom environment and how can one teach them?
Thanks for any tips/advices or links to some teaching strategies.

asked: I’m getting a puppy soon, about 7 weeks old it will be, and my dad doesn’t mind it ********* in the garden but wants it to poo outside, meaning while we’re going out for a walk… Is there a way to teach it this? Or is this something to teach it when the puppy is slightly older? Thanks

I only ask this because my old dog, who died, used to never poo in our garden and always waited till we went for a walk and in the field.

bright red asked: I want to teach overseas. I have a bachelor’s degree in International Studies. Do I have to do a master’s degree in Education, and become certified to teach in the US, in order to be able to get a job teaching English overseas?
The regions I would like to teach in are: Europe, Latin America and India/ the Middle East
Can I just get TEFL certified, or do the best jobs require a teaching certificate from the US?
Thanks!

Haydavidley asked: Wouldn’t someone need to teach you the basic chords and whatnot?
How can someone just pick up a guitar and teach themselves?
If that’s possible, than they’re already taught if they can teach themselves.

I have a very terrible singing voice. If I take singing lessons, can I really learn how to sing and sing nicely? Or does singing nicely really only depend on what kind of voice you were born with?
